Predan Wooden Witch

Predan is a small, family-owned company which has been handcrafting enchanting toys from the finest native woods in the German town of Schwäbisch Gmünd since 1982.

In order to emphasise each wood's inherent expressiveness, Predan's toys are characterised by soft, simplistic shapes and lines. The surface of the wood is honed and oiled, bringing out its natural texture. Through its beautiful toys, Predan lets children experience the unique warmth and character of wood as a material.

Predan uses over 20 different varieties of native woods from sustainably managed forests, which results in the incredible variety of colours in its products. The natural, plant-based dyes used are non-toxic and resistant to both saliva and sweat.

Predan makes creative, nature-inspired toys that are perfect for imaginative role-playing games and storytelling, but which are also fantastic as unique, beautiful decorations.
