About Eperfa

Eperfa’s beautiful children’s toys are inspired by the natural landscapes and wildlife found in Hungary, Budapest and lake Balaton. Fascinated by the playful, inquisitive nature if children, the toymakers aim to make toys that encourage slowness and exploration.

All of Eperfa’s products are thoughtfully designed and informed by the knowledge of experts and consultants, with organisations such as Duna-Ipoly National Park and Birdlife Hungary providing help and support. Their toys are produced ethically by individual craftsmen in small workshops around Budapest, with 95% of their wood sourced from local national parks. The result is nostalgic, open-ended toys that remind us of the magic and wonder of childhood.
